Packaging machines: frequently asked questions
The questions customers ask us most often before choosing a packaging machine.
Capacity
How many packs per minute does a packaging machine make?
It depends on the machine, the format and the product. The capacity on each product page is indicative: we confirm it in the offer once we know the product, fill weight and film or container type.
Can I increase capacity later?
Yes. You can move to a multilane version, add a second machine or automate the end of line. We plan for this from the start, so the line is ready to grow.
Foods and formats
Which foods can be packed?
Powders, granules, liquids and creams, snacks, nuts, fresh and frozen products. For each food we choose the right dosing system: multihead weigher, auger filler, volumetric pump or filler.
Can one machine run several formats?
Yes, within the limits of the model. A format change needs a dedicated forming tube or change parts; the offer lists the compatible formats and the changeover time.
Are the machines suitable for food contact?
Yes. Product-contact parts are stainless steel and food-grade materials, CE marked, with a hygienic design that is easy to clean.
Installation and service
Do you install outside Italy?
Yes. We deliver, install and commission worldwide, with on-site operator training.
How long until the machine is running?
Delivery and installation times depend on model and configuration and are stated in writing in the offer.
What do you need to send a quote?
Product and pack format, target capacity, installation country and timing. Price is always on request, based on the real configuration.
